Hi, I am Yohanne Mwale

My passion for photography has been a lifelong journey, evolving alongside technological advancements that have opened up new creative possibilities beyond traditional cameras. Growing up in South Africa, my artistic inclinations were evident from a young age through painting and writing. After graduating, I explored diverse paths—working as a freelance entertainment writer for various websites and delving into the video game industry as an analyst, all while pursuing a career in music.

However, it was photography that truly captured my heart. Inspired by visionaries like Peter McKinnon, I found myself completely immersed in this art form, to the point where I embraced the identity of a photographer.

From that transformative moment, photography became not just a passion but a defining part of my journey.

The rest as they say... is history.

Oh yeah! this is my wife!!!

I met Melissa through mutual friends... I was single, she wasn't but I thought she was absolutely intoxicating. A year or so later, our mutual friend (one of her best friends) informed me that she was single and had been asking about me... One awkward double date later, a walk during a lunch break, a second date that almost didn't happen, and wouldn't you know it... she loves me, she really loves me!

I mean... there's a lot of other details in there but you get the gist of it :D

This photo is just next level and to receive this as a Mother’s Day gift, words just can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for such a thoughtful and loving gift. This photo captures Jaxson’s personality so perfectly...

It’s a combination of a stunning photo, a beautiful piece of art, and the thought that went behind creating and gifting it to me. The amount of heart, thought and time that went into this gift, I can’t even put into words how thankful I am ❤️
